Jemma and Karl Kibble have set up Olly’s Fund, a family fund for their son Olly, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
After an extended period of seeing a physio, Olly was referred to a specialist and was given a blood test. At the end of 2014, at the age of just 2 years old, Olly was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
As part of his treatment, Jemma and Karl now help Olly do regular leg exercises at home, and he is seen by a physio once per month.
Jemma and Karl have done tremendously well in their fundraising efforts so far. In April 2015 they organised a coffee morning, raising over £2,200, and next year Karl will take part in Make Today Count for Olly’s Fund.
