Hi, my name is Auzair, I am 13 years old and a member of the MDC South West Trailblazers. On Thursday 28th October, me, my cousin Amaan (who also wrote a blog), my eldest brother, and two of his friends, went up to Central London (which is about 100 miles away from Bristol where we live!), where the MDC Offices are. We had to leave at about 8:00, and it took us two and a half hours to get there. Once we arrived, we went into the office, where we met Bobby Ancil and everyone else in the office, then we (me and my cousin Amaan) sat down to do some research on outdoor temporary events in the South West, and took down their contact details, so that they could be asked about their facilities. At about 12:30, some of the people in the office, and everyone else that came to London with me, went to a restaurant to get some really tasty lunch! After this, we got back and I finished off getting our research into a spreadsheet, whilst my cousin Amaan did some research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which is the type of MD that i have, then he became the youngest Trailblazer, (beating my record of 13 by 4 years!), before writing a blog which you can see right here on the MDC Trailblazers website. Once we had done this, we said bye, and we also said that we would come back in the Christmas school holidays, then we went to look around Harrods in Knightsbridge, then we got some food from a take-away near Harrods, before setting off on the long and dark (it was about 7:30 in the evening!) 100 mile trip all the way back down to Bristol.
