For those who don’t know me, I’m Judith Merry and along with my sister, Laura, we’re both National Ambassadors for the Muscular Dystrophy Trailblazers Network.

Laura and I have recently got ourselves an online radio show with and independent radio station called Studyvox (apparently ‘vox’ means ‘voice’ in latin we’ve been told, so it’s ‘studyvoice’). They play mostly unsigned music which means you don’t have to pay for it but the music we’ve heard so far is very good.

Our show, The Merry Show a very apt title chosen, will get to play a blend of unsigned and commercial music as the station has recently acquired the licience to play commercial music. We get to help choose the music, so hopefully it’ll be a nice blend of recognisable tunes for your ears. That’s as long as we can both agree on our choices.

So far we’ve been doing practice runs and pre-recordings for when we’re not there. There’s been plenty of hiccups already as we both get used to working the touch screen, adding or dropping tracks and other new radio techy stuff we’ve had to learn. Luckily it’s not too hard, only becomes hard when I panic slightly and my brain decides to freeze. But besides that, what we’re hoping you’ll hear is a very professional radio show. Full of a variety of chit chat, latest updates on entertainment, some sport and any campaings we’re involved with too! It’ll also give us an opportunity to talk about all the different campaigns Trailblazers have done and to advertise any upcoming local or nationals campaigns.

Now, we are going live for the first time this week on the Thursday the 23rd with The Merry Show from 3-5pm (the surname is quite a handy name to use!) fonline.
If you can get yourself to a computer to have a listen that be great! Any feedback too would be greatly welcomed :)
Because we’re a brand new show, the stations’ regualr listeners will not know about us so we have to build up our own database of listners.
