Experience the feeling of flight in a safe and fun way at iFLY Manchester, where the dream of flight becomes a reality.
Want to combine both excitement and fundraising? Take part in our Make Today Count indoor skydives. You will be suspended in a column of air which totally reproduces the feeling of a free-fall parachute jump on this exciting and invigorating event without the need to jump out of an aircraft.
Our arrival time is 12pm, with our flight session set to begin at 1pm on 3 March 2019. The whole experience takes around an hour and a half. Full instruction, specialist flying suits and goggles along with a fun interactive briefing are included. Then after the briefing you and the others in your group are introduced to the column of air where you will be able to fly, one at a time for two flights each.
This unique experience of indoor skydiving is available for anyone aged 4 to 104 and is particularly appealing to children. To take part you need to pay a registration fee of just £25 to reserve your place and pledge to raise a minimum of £175 in sponsorship, which will help to fund groundbreaking research and help individuals with muscle-wasting conditions to live as independently as possible.
Please note that the indoor skydiving sites have their own health and safety regulations regarding weight, the maximum weight is 18 stone. An online risk statement will also need to be completed for each participant and a personal code to access this on the iFLY website will be emailed to you nearer the date of the event.
