Are you between the ages of 18 and 30 and do you have a muscle-wasting condition? Then the Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK) Wellbeing Camp in the Lake District from 20 to 22 September 2019 is for you.
With the support from the Bupa UK Foundation, MDUK Trailblazers are offering an amazing opportunity for young disabled people to build confidence and independence by spending a weekend away from home in a fully accessible location. It will also give you the chance to meet and spend time with other young people with similar conditions.
The camps will consist of a mixture of fully accessible outdoor activities including:
There will also be a range of workshops aimed at building confidence and skills for independent living. This is the perfect opportunity to take part in activities you’d never thought possible and you’ll get to make friends along the way.
