Come along to a Northern Ireland muscle group meeting in Craigavon which will include a discussion on transport issues.
The next meeting will take place on Saturday 23rd March 12.00pm – 3.00pm at Brownlow Community Hub, Craigavon.
Muscle Groups are a great way to meet people affected by muscular dystrophy or a related neuromuscular condition in your local area and share information and advice in a relaxed and informal setting.
The Consumer Council will be giving a presentation to highlight their role and to discuss transport accessibility (air, sea, public transport and taxi’s). We are also interested in hearing your experiences of using transport services.
We will also have a discussion on accessing psychological support as part of Muscular Dystrophy UK’s Mental Health Matters initiative.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available. A changing places toilet is on site. Lunch will be provided. We are also able to contribute to travel expenses for meetings.
