Join ‘Team Orange’ and experience the thrill of the longest zipline in Europe (and the fastest in the world!) from the top of Bethesda Quarry in the heart of the beautiful Snowdonia countryside. Zipworld Velocity is “The Nearest Thing to Flying”!

This adrenalin fueled attraction offers you a totally unique experience where speeds in excess of 100mph can be reached! It is a great event to do as a team or a family, with a minimum age limit of 10 (minimum 120 cm height) and no maximum age! Please note Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. A weight restriction of 120kg applies.

Zipworld Velocity has two pairs of zip lines. The experience starts with the ‘Little Zipper’. This is a great introduction and confidence builder with a maximum speed of around 45mph.

This is followed by a journey up the mountain in a specialised off road vehicle and involves a journey through what was once the largest slate quarry in the world.

Where the Quarry Tour ends the Big Zipper begins. This is a mile long zip line that provides you with a birds-eye view of the historic quarry and the spectacular North Wales coastline and beyond.

Participants will be supplied with a safety helmet, goggles and a flying suit that is wind and shower proof.

Book your place now and take up the challenge to raise funds for the fight against muscle wasting conditions.

Participants are asked to raise £150 in sponsorship for this really exciting event that will test your nerves all the way.

The event will take place on Saturday 27 April 2019 at 12.20pm and you should expect to be at the quarry for around 2 – 2.5 hours. You will need to arrive at the site 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
