Make every step count this next spring by joining #TeamOrange to complete one of the greatest outdoor challenges in the UK.
Together we will ascend the three highest peaks in Yorkshire; Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The aim of the challenge is to complete the 23-mile route in under 12 hours although it will not be a race and we’ll be moving together with our slowest members of the group.
Relax and focus on your stride as we take care of all the hard work. Before the challenge you’ll receive lots of support with your training and fundraising from two of our local Regional Development Managers, Laura English-Rose in Yorkshire and the East Midlands and Stuart Murray in the North East and Cumbria.
The walk itself will be led by a qualified and experienced adventure guide who will ensure the next step is all you need to think about as you take in the breathless views across the Yorkshire Dales.
Included in your registration fee is two nights shared accommodation. Arriving on Friday evening you’ll be fully prepared for the challenge with a pre-event briefing and evening meal. On Saturday, after your long day of walking, there’ll be an opportunity to refresh and spend some time relaxing with your fellow participants at our celebration evening dinner.
This is a great challenge of endurance, stamina and perseverance. The event caters for various abilities, so are you ready to make every step count?
By taking part you’ll be making a commitment to raising enough funds to fund a full day of research. Your sponsorship pledge of £350 will allow us to continue our work to make every day count to bring hoe that together, we can bring forward the day when we beat muscle-wasting conditions.
Please read over the Terms and conditions before signing up today. Also as well as completing the online registration at the bottom, please can you fill out this form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
