The start and finish lines are just a one-minute warm-up jog away.
The 10k is open to everyone over the age of 16.
The 3k is open to 9-15 year olds.
The race attracts local runners, including university students, club runners and fun runners.
If you’d like to run pushing a running buggy, the route allows for this, and you are very welcome. Please just start in the appropriate place (we recommend the back and to one side) and take responsibility for the safety of yourself and others around you.
If you’re a wheelchair user or have any accessibility requirements and would like to take part, contact us on townandgown10k@musculardystrophyuk.org and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
If you registered on or before Tuesday 8 September, you’ll get your bib in the post one week before the event. If you signed up after this date, or your race pack hasn’t arrived, you’ll need to collect your race number from the Event Village between 8-9am on the day. The Event Village is in Midsummer Common. We’ll keep you informed ahead of the event.
If you gave us your email address on entry, you’ll get an email with your chip-time after the race. All chip-timed results will be available on Results | Sublime Timing after the event.
If you’re unable to race, you can transfer your place to someone else the deadline for this is Monday 31 August.
Contact townandgown10k@musculardystrophyuk.org for support with this.

We’re delighted to partner with the Coopah Run app who provide an affordable, personalised, running training plan. All our runners receive an exclusive two-week free trial after signing up with any Town and Gown 10K running event.
