Our Bidwells Oxford 10k race is an annual event that attracts 6,000 runners every year.

Every entry raises funds to help change the future of muscle wasting conditions. The Bidwells Town and Gown 10k series has already raised over £2 million. We simply couldn’t put these events on without brilliant volunteers.

Why volunteer?

You’ll get the opportunity opportunities to develop new skills, enhance your resume, and meet new people. Additionally, it’s a fun and exciting way to give back to the community.

All volunteers will get a free charity t-shirt and a certificate to add to your portfolio.

As a Bidwells Town and Gown volunteer you will help the event run smoothly.

We need information tent administrators, baggage tent coordinators, goody bag distributors, route marshals, water station marshals, and start & finish line marshals.

What we’re looking for in a Bidwells Town and Gown volunteer:

Friendly, enthusiastic volunteers who are reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about making a difference, with strong communication skills and a willingness to assist in various tasks to ensure the event’s success.
