The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board provides a joint neuromuscular service for patients across the North Wales region. Clinics are located in Colwyn Bay, Glan Clywd Hospital and Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, with more planned for Ysbyty Gwynedd and Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor.
How to access the service
Patients can be referred to the service by a consultant.

Dr Elizabeth Brohan is a paediatrician with a special interest in Neuromuscular disorders.
Dr Lee Wisby
Consultant Paediatrician
Dr Wisby is a general paediatrician with a respiratory interest. He is based at YGC and started there in 2005. He oversees the medical aspects of the cystic fibrosis service and provides respiratory input for children with respiratory muscle weakness and those on home oxygen or positive pressure ventilatory support.
Sam Power
Care advisor
