The Scotland Muscle Group is a great opportunity to meet people and their families in the region affected by muscular dystrophy or a related neuromuscular condition, as well as share information and advice through peer to peer support.

Muscle Groups are also a way to get involved with Muscular Dystrophy UK’s campaigning work in Scotland.

Mark Chapman, Chair of the Scotland Muscle Group, commented:

Living with a muscle-wasting condition can be extremely isolating, making it difficult to meet others in a similar situation. Muscle Groups make a real difference as they are a great way to bring people together as well as sharing information and advice.

Upcoming meetings

  • Muscle Group – Saturday 22 September, The Whiteinch Centre, Glasgow.
  • Supporting the needs of carers – Saturday 20 October, Touchbase Business Centre
