The role will be home based with attending weekly clinics initially at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHSNHSFT), but this will be subject to change as more honorary contracts are set up with other hospital trusts in the region. The officer, will work with statutory organisations, clinicians, social and health professionals to ensure that people with muscle-wasting conditions get the care and support they need to maintain functional independence and a good quality of life.
