We are looking for a Trusts Fundraising Officer to join our successful Trusts and Grants team. This key role will lead on stewardship of our vital body of warm smaller trust funders and on engaging new trusts with potential to give up to £10,000. There will also be opportunities to work on some higher-value applications. You will have excellent research skills, and be confident in persuasive communication, both written and oral, to convince funders of the importance of our cause and the impact their donation can make. You will make a central contribution to meeting the team’s ambitious targets and supporting the charity’s drive to beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Applicants

The successful candidate should have:

  • Sound knowledge of trusts fundraising processes
  • Fundraising experience from trusts in the voluntary sector
  • Thorough approach with very good attention to detail
  • Ability to convey relevant detail clearly and concisely
  • Understanding of research techniques

Location

This role is based at our office in Southwark, London. It is within a short walking distance of Southwark and Borough Tube stations. It is also a short distance from Waterloo Station, London Bridge Station and Blackfriars Station. We are also a 5 minute walk from the Tate Modern and Southbank, perfect place to go for lunch during the warm summer months.
