Muscular Dystrophy UK is deeply saddened to learn that Her Majesty The Queen has died.

Buckingham Palace issued a statement confirming the news this evening, saying that she died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

We are indebted to Queen Elizabeth II for her 70-year reign as our longest-serving sovereign, during which she provided stability and guidance for her nation.
