We know that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had a significant impact on everyone’s lives, and has brought huge, additional challenges for people living with muscle-wasting conditions.
We are launching this survey to provide an opportunity for you to share your experiences of life during the pandemic and what it’s been like accessing services. The survey questions cover:
- access to clinic appointments and specialists, treatments and clinical trials
- lockdown and shielding
- access to the MDUK helpline and support services.
Your responses will help us to shape our priorities in response to the pandemic in the short term, and to design our plans to improve healthcare support, service provision and access to treatments in the longer term.
The survey will take you about 10 minutes to complete. We greatly appreciate your time in sharing your views and experiences.
We will also shortly seek the views of health professionals in the neuromuscular field, to find out how the pandemic has affected on service provision.
