Music of Life Foundation is searching for disabled youngsters with musical talent to take part in a range of exciting musical projects and concerts across the UK.

Providing one-to-one tuition, choral, instrumental and composers’ workshops the Foundation facilitates youngsters’ access to the leading conservatoires in the country; offering high-quality musical education and performance opportunities at a professional level. Striving to tackle the exclusion often faced by disabled youngsters in the music industry, the Foundation enables young people to enjoy the same opportunities and experiences available to other musicians.

Sixteen-year-old Thomas Blumire, who is affected by muscular dystrophy, is just one of the young people who has benefited from the Foundation’s work. His mother says, “We were so proud of Thomas and all the youngsters that took part, they were a credit to the Music of Life and showed so well what the Foundation is able to achieve. Thomas was thrilled to take part and got a real buzz out of singing with the choir, and delighted that he found he could hold his own with such excellent singing.”
