Today is the first day of Volunteers Week 2019 (1 – 7 June).
To mark Volunteers Week, we want to thank all of you who give your time to support us, not just this year but throughout Muscular Dystrophy’s UK’s 60 year history.
It would be impossible for us to support families, fund vital research or campaign for improvements to the lives of people living with a neuromuscular condition without you, our loyal and devoted volunteers. By working together we can make sure that volunteers are able to use their skills and expertise to make a real difference and have a great volunteer experience with the charity.
This week, we will highlight examples some of the amazing work our volunteers have achieved throughout the charity. Over 500 volunteers help across the UK to deliver our events and support others in their communities.
