Target MD – 1 of 2016

Here’s our first 2016 edition of Target MD, filled with stories of outstanding people – this time talking about what quality of life means to them.

You’ll read how for some people, it means getting the right information to ensure their children have the best school experience, while for others work and a meaningful social life reflect a good quality of life.

Whatever good quality of life means to anyone living with a muscle-wasting condition, Muscular Dystrophy UK is here to offer support and information. Our advocacy team is here to provide support on financial or practical issues.

The cover image features Paralympic swimming champion and Muscular Dystrophy UK Ambassador, Ollie Hynd, having a special swimming session with four-year-old Iris Jaworski.  And inside the magazine, our Chief Executive Robert Meadowcroft writes about the importance of disability rights and sport.
