Find Support, Share Experiences, and Build Community

If you are living with Myasthenia Gravis (MG), you’re not alone. Join our informal support group, where members come together to connect, share their experiences, and offer encouragement in a warm and understanding environment.

This group is chaired by Amanda Hayes, a dedicated volunteer living with Myasthenia Gravis. Amanda founded the group to create a safe space for open conversations, mutual support, and practical advice.

What to Expect:

  • A relaxed and informal setting.
  • An opportunity to share personal experiences and challenges.
  • Peer support from others who understand living with MG.
  • Practical tips and advice for managing MG symptoms and daily life.

The group meets every few months, and each session is designed to foster connection and understanding. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been living with MG for years, you’ll find a supportive community ready to welcome you.

Speakers:

Jack McLellan, Employability Support Officer at Muscular Dystrophy UK, will join our July meeting to discuss how he helps people with neuromuscular conditions access work and secure necessary adjustments.

How to Join:

Participation is free, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
