Not a metaphor but a quote:

“You’ll never walk alone” < That is a bit of a double entendre.

It was going to be my next tattoo but it’s affiliated with Liverpool FC….and well, being an LFC fan is just plain wrong

My brother used to call me a slug – when going up the stairs he would race up and shout he was a racing snail and I was a slow slug – I guess it wasn’t so funny when he became a slug too LOL.

    These are very good :-)

It’s like being a biscuit – sometimes you get dunked in the hot stuff and end up as sludge at the bottom of the cup. You know it’s going to happen but your not quite sure when – you just get soggier until one day – plop. Then you have to be scooped up and plopped on the side of a saucer and you’re never quite the same again.

I have always explained it as like being a puppet with its strings cut.
You still have the joints in the right places but no strength to move them.
So you have to use momentum and leverage to move, like falling sideways.

Are you unable to drink even a very little alcohol AMG? That sounds like a right pain in the bahookie.
