    A Special Date

I have been seeing a young lady from Estonia for the best part of six years on & off. We met on a disabled website & there was something about her that attracted me straight away. I think it’s cos I thought if I visited her I’d be visiting a warm island in the med (I was never good at geography at school). I visited Kristel on her island home of Saaremaa in the Baltic sea a couple of times whilst I was still fit enough to make the journey & she’s visited me ever since then. Despite the language barrier sometimes Kristel has always made me laugh. Her English is much better than my Estonian.

When Kristel returned again last November for a two month stay I proposed to her & we got married on Christmas Eve, just us two & my parents as witnesses. We told our extended families on Christmas Day & my family held a small celebration on January 11th at my parents home & the wedding was blessed by family friend, Pastor Jeff. I couldn’t choose between my brothers to be best man & so I had my only Nephew, 14mth old Freddie.

Kristel is back home with her Mum for now but, they both will be here in August to allow Kristel’s Mum to meet all of my family & then she’ll return home after ten days. Hopefully Kristel is then going to stay with me.

That’s my news, I’m married & meet the wife !

We did have balloons & cans tied to the chariot & Kristel’s scooter respectively for the short journey home from Mum & Dad’s to our place. Baby brother Stuart thought it was hilarious to tie a full can of Fosters to me chariot that duly exploded half way home & shot all over the place on it’s own :rollover:

Thank you all so much for your messages. I have shared the link to this topic with Kristel & she is a bit overwhelmed but, exceptionally flattered & happy. Of course I do have a few more photos but, I won’t bore you or post them all.

When I moved I chose different shades of purple for the paint, carpet & soft furnishings to decorate my living room. My favourite colour is orange but, it’s not to everybodies taste & for that reason I didn’t consider it for the main room (can’t escape it in the bedroom though. The room is filled with a glow when the sun hits the walls). I didn’t realise I was a fan of purple until I started to put it all together. The purple theme was adopted by Mum when she arranged the decoration for the blessing at her home & once I knew I bought lilac coloured bridesmaid dresses for my nieces.

However, somebody also thought a chocolate fountain was a good idea :bang: & there are few, if any, pictures of my lovely nieces in these dresses before this blooming fountain was turned on.

I shall endeavour to find before & after shots & then leave the pic posting alone.
