    Bbc3. Don’t take my baby

Just watched show on bbc I player from Monday night. Wasn’t “don’t take me baby”. Really well done. Some fab acting and to the point. Very emotional. Really identified withthe actress.

I watched that myself Cat. I really enjoyed it. I really felt for the lad, fighting the social services, trying to look after a baby and a girlfriend that stamped her feet. :bang: all on top of failing eyesight
was the girl supposed to have MD? because I only caught the last 3/4hr or so

Yes, I believe so. tv mag just says muscle wasting condition.

Yes felt for the guy as you could see the pressure getting to him but like my carer he was reluctant for outside help. But I live her life and see her point of view as well, short play so what we don’t know is if he had time to wash her that day(the night of the temper tantrum) all we seen is her sitting and on the couch all the time. I get the its ok for you just “sitting around all day” now and then. having someone to take care of his wife’s personal needs some of the time when the baby came would have helped but we all no how hard it is to get personal care when family carers live in.

what I don’t get is why the baby wasn’t offered a nursery place to help him.

wasn’t it ironic that it was his condition the baby had with the way his nightmare parents were behaving.
