Am I the only one who seems to feel cold all the time, even when we have had the warm temperatures we have had recently? I am sat inside, no heating on, in a jumper and body warmer, and I am just about feeling warm enough. Temperature outside is 13 c, but the thought of being outside at the mo does not impress me.
I guess with MD as the muscles waster and do less work they genrate less warmth, but I udnerstood that it was the brown fat theat generates most of the heat in our bodies, along with lots of other organs and processes. Can anyone perhaps explain, or am I just getting old?Mike

What you say about muscles makes sense though.
I am just the same. Even warmer here yet I am sat with
even a heavy fleece on. It was only in the 2nd of May that
I stopped wearing long sleeved and long legged thermals. Do this
For seven months a year. Heat pads, hot water bottles and
fires of all descriptions everywhere.I have a low pulse rate of 48 when resting. Always wondered if that
was a factor or was it pure muscle issues.Confusing stuff.

I wear a vest nearly all year (it has got to be sweltering before I remove it) and tend to feel the cold quickly. You would never catch me in a swimsuit!
