Too hot, staying in the shade in the cooler room.

Finally the sun is starting to warm my lounge room [west facing], I might have to take my cardy off

Mine is South facing which is superb in winter time, but too much in
Summer sun. Cardies are the most wonderful invention in the world. One zip
Or a couple of buttons and instant air conditioning.

There are rumours of a Primark opening in my home town but I do not know when … the nearest is in the city some 30 miles away and whenever we are in there it is like a Harrods sales scrum!!

Is it any warmer with you? I tink we’ve peeked at 70º right now.

Do you get a cooling breeze from the North Sea?

When I lived on the east Essex coast I used to rely on it.

Yes, we are typically 3 or 4 degrees cooler than inland.

Dared to go in my garden this morning.

Decimated, winter has taken it’s horrible toll.

Have you seen those ‘borders in a box’ type deals, MiracleGrow did one where you cleared the ground, sprinkled over the contents [seeds, compost, food thingys all combined, watered and watch it grow into an instantaneous colourful herbaceous border.

    The advert

There are three types and they are available from amazon . I imagine garden centres will have other varieties.
