New Video – What do you think?

    Hi All

I’ve been a bit of a stranger on the TalkMD forum over the past months – nothing personal, promise! It feels good to be back.

Have you seen our brand new charity video – Making a difference? It made its début at our Scottish and National Conferences, as well as at the Microscope Ball last week. If you haven’t already seen it, I’d love you to see it – here’s where you’ll find it. I hope you enjoy it.

    Hi Ruth

I have tinkered with things a little and found the magic button to embed the video in the thread so people can see it straight away.

It is a BRILLIANT video … two very positive, bright, adorable children having some fun and two sets of realistic, positive parents, and the message s simple …. ‘there is no cure’. We live in a time where it is assumed something can be done.

    Bravo to all involved.

:Post: I totally agree with AMG – brilliant piece that gets the right message across I think.

I think this is an excellent and heart-warming video.

    Thanks for sharing this Ruth.

….and a neat piece of embedding by AMG (how does she do it?)

Ah thanks, everyone, for the positive feedback. I’m glad you like the video – it was a wonderful project to work on and the two families were smashing to work with – as you can see!

And thanks for embedding the video, AMG, you’re so clever!

    Have a great week, y’all

    Hi All

Just to let you know the latest Target MD and Target Research magazines are up online here: http://www.muscular-dystrophy.org/about/what_we_do/key_publications/targetmd

Hope you enjoy them. I’m now working on the next edition, which has a Scotland focus; so many wonderful things happening in Scotland and amazing supporters to interview.

Take care, and as always, we do value your feedback

I find things like this hard to watch,. Those kids are amazing, the part where the kid says “I want to be a computer game designer” got me. Great video, great message.
