I must admit that is the same with me. If you don’t mind me asking what type do you have, as I have recently been told I have centranuclear myopathy. I have got to wait to find out what type I have, as it could be one of three. But if you feel like you want to talk then I am here hopefully to answer some of your questions, cant say I know the answer to them all, but at least I know some of what you are going through.

No I don’t, until I found the forum nobody told me what was available, I have learnt a lot. I didn’t even know of wheelchair service , until a little while ago, as I have been struggling trying to push myself around my property. The doctors don’t seem to know much so they don’t send you in the right direction, I think they just want me to sit at home and keep quiet. Do you find that.

I have just taken charge on my new powered wheelchair. What a god send, it has made my life so much easier. Once I stop banging into the door frames, there isn’t much paint left. Looks like I will have to have the decorators in. Did anybody else have this problem, maybe because I have never driven a car, that might be it.

I have the same problem. Because I am right handed I put all my weight on that side, and I am starting to find when I put my weight on that side it hurts. I just put it down to my condition, so I haven’t had it checked out. Whenever I go the doctors just say that it is down to the MD and that is that so I never bother now.
I feel like that sometimes, why not feel sorry for your self, all I get when I am like that is there plenty of other people out there that are far worse than you. So pull yourself together and get on with it.
So I feel this helps getting it off your chest, as it can be so frustrating not knowing what is happening, why all this pain and discomfort. That’s life hey ho.

I have never seen the film frozen, so that is why I have never heard of Elsa and Olaf. I have seen all the merchandise in the shops but have never taken any notice of the characters that are in the film.

Hi, I had a hospital appointment, and the bus company said the same thing, so I decided to use hospital transport. Big mistake, on the outskirts of London when my wheelchair tipped up and I was lying on the floor. Make sure that they strap you down securely. so I am not looking forward to my next appointment. is there any other way of getting to the hospital. Can any one help me on this one.

Hi, Just wanted to say that I am glad I have found this site, its nice to know that I am not alone. there are other people out there who know what I am going through, and the struggles that you face just to get the basic things that other people take for granted to help with every day life. I try to keep busy making cards and gardening, when I feel up to it. but now winter is on its way there isn’t anything to do, I’ve put the garden to bed now the spring bulbs are in.
well thanks for listening.
bye for now
