    Re: Help Please

    Oh WOW,

Thank you everyone for your very kind imput, we really appreciate it so much!! I cant tell you how much you have uplifted me in knowing that it can be a success:-) We fully anticipate the pain for the poor poppit and the intense rehab too!

I apologise for the delay in getting back online, but we have had problems with the computer and I couldnt get my account to work, but we are back on track today :-) The surgery was postponed from last monday, then we were given a date of the 29th, but now that has been pushed out to the 12th August. So I hope beyond all hope that everything will go well??

    Thank you all so much!

    Best wishes

Thank you both so much for your lovley and very informative replies, we really appreciate it very much:-)

We heard late yesterday that the operation wont be going ahead now this coming Monday but possibly Monday two weeks now, which we feel gives us a little more time! We had a very good meeting with our Physio today, which did help clarify quite a few of our queries! It is very hard to be objective! Our logic is saying one thing and our hearts another. Its one thing making the decision for oneself, but making it for your child is a whole other thing:-( We have been told that he should be in the cast for 4 weeks then intense physio etc after that but for how long we dont know exactly! It is a scary time!! We just hope that his strength will help him through it all? Our biggest fear is that he will be worse off than he is now!!! He is a very active happy-go-lucky little fella! It is very reassuring to know that you have been through it and feel that if you were younger it would have helped more! Also it is wonderful everything that you have achieved since!! It is hard to imagine what is ahead for him!!!

It is a scary time, we just hope we will be doing the right thing for him???

    Thank you so much!

    Best wishes
