Reply To: Has anyone tried Oxycodone for pain relief?

hiya Flynn, ive never done Oxycodone. but I have taken Cannabis, Codeine, Pregabalin and Nefopam. apart from Cannabis, each gave me bad and some embarrassing side effects. so ive gone back to smoking Cannabis :D

Reply To: GOOD LOO/BAD LOO closing door optional

my local Weatherspoons gets me. the door opens outwards and there is no door handle.so you have to unlock the door with the key, then turn the key halfway, then pull onthe key to open the door out toward you. all the time praying that you don’t lose your grip on the key, otherwise you go staggering backward in to the pub or fall over.then when you come out of the toilet. if you push the door too hard, its that heavy you can end up slamming it into whoever is sat at the table behind the door. apart from the door, I cant fault the toilet layout. its more than large enough
to fit a wheelchair and carer in there. there is one thing that puzzles me though with all disabled toilets. just why do they put them plastic grab handles, with grooves on the wall. you cant grip
them for the life of you.

    Reply To: Appointments

I see my Neuro consultant once a year and to be honest, I cant fault the bloke.
hes never lied to me and he openly admitted on the very first day, that I was the first
case of EDMD he had actually seen in reality. so we both came to a decision, that
he along with keeping an eye on me. he would use me as a teaching aid for students.
this has involved students being there during appointments, them examining and asking me
    questions at times.
the way I see things is, if the medical profession can use me to speed up treatment
for kids with EDMD. then im all too happy to help :D

hiya Jon. I had my first pacemaker fitted way back in 2003, to combat AF. I was kept in over night for monitoring, but sent home the following day.
I had my replacement pacemaker fitted last year. I was kept in roughly for about 4hrs after.
all I had was a bit of internal bruising in my chest muscle, a bit of soreness that’s all. but that settled after 2 days.
its really worth getting done

update on things. the Dr has now put me Nefopam at 30mg x 3 daily. im not being funny but 30mg, is ineffective. so earlier I popped 60mg and actually got some very light relief from the pain

Re: Cheap Sky For Christmas !

I used to have sky, but it got beyond ridiculous for the subscription fees.
I then came across Now TV. to be honest and although there isn’t loads on it,
I just cant fault it. its £9pm movies and £6pm entertainment. ive nicknamed
it poor mans Ske TV :D

Re: ESA and DLA to Merge?..

heres a little snippet I heard on the news the other day. our friend, the one that cares so much about disabled people, because he had a disabled son. well, hes going to stand down, half way through his term of Prime Minister.
anybody else get the feeling that hes going to grind us into non existence, bugger off and put IDS in to take over from him :bite:
