erm not being funny, but if the lad is struggling to stand and urinate. why cant he sit on the toilet and do it.
surely the poor lad will find that a lot better to handle, than going from standing to a hoist

in a nut, you can exercise until your blue in the face. im sorry but you wont ever be able to straighten your arms.
I tried it all, weights, hanging off of things. I even enquired about surgery.
the weights and hanging did nothing. and the dr’s refused surgery, due to the amount of nerves in the elbow area.

morning peeps. I have tried to explain to her the ins and outs of my condition and she says its not a problem.

stefanMay 14, 2015 at 12:06 am #87484Re: What did you do today?
today I mainly listened to the flat beneath me being renovated. this is the flat that I asked the council if I could swap to. after all im on the rehousing housing list for a ground floor property. to which the council told me that I have to wait until, its advertised and bid on it like everybody else.
so since Tuesday, ive listened to the place getting totally rewired, a kitchen getting ripped out and replaced, a bathroom being ripped out and wet floor shower being fitted. radiators being installed and 2 idiot workmen that cant sing for the life of them.
god knows how long its going to last. but im praying the council workmen are no longer stringing jobs out

hiya peeps. ive taken on board what your saying. ive even taken a jug into the bedroom, just in case I need the toilet fast.
however ive met somebody and although we haven’t stopped over at each others homes for the night. im a bit scared at what her reaction will be if she sees making an emergency squirt in to the jug. I mean, how can I expect her to understand that her 43yr old boyfriend, cant make it to the toilet on a morning

hi Angie. although I haven’t got DMD, I do have EDMD and I use a standing frame. I bought something that is more or less a zimmer frame without wheels. its aluminium, can be altered in height and folds up. I paid about £10 from Lloyds pharmacy online.

well to be honest, id love to say ive had good experience with wheelchair taxis in my area. an even though ive had a powerchair for nearly 18mths. ive not been able to use my chair due to the council still not rehousing me. this years winter has been horrible. apart from to hospital appointments, ive not been able to go out since September.
so I can honestly that at this moment in time. im very envious of those of you that can get out

I woke up this morning in a great mood. that was until I went online and a friend had sent me the following link.
all I can say is that it totally disgusted me and I hope people boycott this cinema chain

do what I do, with salesmen. when they ring up and I cant be bothered with it. I just put the phone gently on its side and leave them talking, whilst I either go make a brew or watch tv
