Muscular Dystrophy Support Centre (‘MDSC’ or ‘the Centre’) is an independent charity on a mission to transform access to therapies for people living with Muscular Dystrophy in the Midlands. Established in 2012, it provides long-term, regular, condition-specific therapies to anyone with muscular dystrophy or a related neuromuscular condition. The Centre responds to the needs of the 11,500 people in the Midlands region with neuromuscular conditions, but service users often come from a much wider geographical area.

Fighting Back for Jack

Emma and Matthew’s son Jack was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy in October 2014, just before his third birthday. They set up a Family Fund, Fighting Back for Jack, to raise awareness and funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK’s Duchenne Research Breakthrough Fund.
