St Brigid’s school in Denbigh, joined in with our Bake a Difference fundraiser this year and managed to successfully raise some dough to help MDUK in its work.
The school is set in the beautiful North Wales countryside and has a Secondary student population of around 350 with a further 150 at junior and nursery level. The school prides itself on being a ‘family’ school and is led by the motto ‘To Inspire and Be Inspired’.
As a result of their baking and cake making they managed to raise £300.43!
Regional Development Manager Charles Horton, pictured here with organising teacher Mrs Nia Roberts and two of the pupils, went along to present the school with a certificate of thanks and to speak to the pupils about the impact that the money they raised will have.
