The service has neuro-therapists who provide assessment and therapy for patients. They also devise treatment plans with realistic goals to suit individual needs and are always on-hand to offer advice and support. They treat adults (over 16 years of age) with neurological conditions affecting their brain, spinal cord and/or nerves, while also treating children for neurological conditions as part of their children’s services.
The Neuromuscular team work closely with respiratory physicians, cardiologists, interventional radiologists and orthopaedic surgeons to achieve the best outcomes possible for patients.
