Went to see a breed of dog called Löwchen https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%B6wchen at the weekend. They’re considered a toy breed, also known as companion dogs. To be honest, I’ve always sneered at them in the past, toy breeds that is, as celebrities often give them a bad name with the indignity of being carried around in handbags etc.
The Löwchen is one of the biggest of the toy breeds & is unlikely to be seen carried around by by anybody, anytime soon… apart from US on our scooter & chariot respectively .
They’re known as the little lion dog & have a particular cut called the lion cut but, we’re not going to groom it like that or maintain it. If you look at any pictures, do not judge the dog by the lion cut, I can assure you they’re the most outgoing & friendly little chaps & that’s what’s won our hearts.
My brother followed us in our parents car in order to get me up some steps at the ladies house in Highley, Shropshire (about 113 miles from us) & I owe him a big thanks as he literally carried me up & down the four steps. No mean feat considering I weigh about 13 stone (I’m being bloody generous there ) & over 6’2″. When he picked me up all I could hear in my head was the music to Dirty Dancing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BQLE_RrTSU, which I told him afterwards in case he dropped me !
I think it’s fair to say when we got there, the whole family fell in love with a rescue called ‘Reba’. She’s a 13 year old lady & been neglected by her former owner after their marriage broke down… and my Mum & Dad adopted her, she arrived with them yesterday.
Kristel & I have paid a deposit on puppies due 23rd October & as long as everything’s OK with the birth, we should have a new little bundle of joy the weekend before Christmas. I’ll post plenty of pictures then, I promise you.
We are going to struggle to find the money but, I am going to go through all my old gadgets, computers, phones etc & sell whatever I can to find the necessary as I miss having a dog terribly. I really miss Gwen.

The puppies were born yesterday. First arrived at 06.15 & Ava (the dam) had finished by 08.20, three boys & two girls. We want a little boy. Once the breeder’s sent us some pics, I’ll post them here ;-).

Actually strike that!
I’ve just remembered that the reason that I am so knackered this morning is that my Geeerl pooch sicked up the remains of her lamb chop tea on my daughters bed last night.
Tilly & Ted were banashed to the lounge, where upon my man cub dog barked alarm calls all night long as his partner barfed up several more times, so I was greeted this morning by more piles!
Ugh! Nope I’m not jealous lol!
Dogs…love em! X
Ps Poundstretcher do some great deals on strong kitchen roll.
Good luck!ShellybearParticipantPosts: 364Joined: 09/12/2010October 22, 2015 at 8:01 am #76663Re: Pet photos
Excellent to have good news!. (apart from the lamb chop).
Our pets are so special to us!
They love us unconditionally and make no judgements!

Can’t post pictures, there’s no way to do it that’s why Mr Fox .
We had a puppy for ten days, just after Christmas & he was just way too much for us to handle. The breeder knew that it was a trial & regrettably we had to send him back. Thankfully he found a new home in two days.
So, now we have a young man called ‘Aksel’. Aksel is a pedigree pillock… not really, he’s a Maine Coon kitten & weighs 5 kilos!
Barney has a new mate cos Barney didn’t take to the puppy & they both seem to love driving me mad & I wouldn’t have it any other way.
If only we could show you.

You need to log onto photbucket. Which is a image housing hosting site. . Or similar.
Copy the html blurb it creates and paste it on your forum post.

Tried to sign up to a couple of these photo sites but they
require you to give them a mobile phone number.
I know it is illegal, but I have never owned a mobile phone.
Does this photo in a bucket thing need phone in a pocket number?

I have been using it for years. And can’t remeber giving one. I now log in with my fb
And set pics to private option when you create account. I gen don’t bother as I only really used it for selling stuff on eBay before they let you post extra pics for free but if it’s personal pics mark as private /don’t share
