Toilet Risers / Getting off the Loo

I am currently looking at getting some adaptations for my bathroom to make things easier.
Can anyone recommend toilets that can mechanically raise itself or the seat or something like it?
How does everybody else deal with getting off the loo?

I am waiting on getting a Closomat riser shower chair. comes in 2 styles one that the whole toilet lifts with you on it and also cleans and drys and another thats a static Toilet pan and you use a removable riser frame that sits around the pan (loo also washes and drys.

CLosomat have a list on place you can go look, sit and try the loos. I try the one in the changing places bathroom in Ikea Edinburgh but the rep also came house and brung a loo and fram to look at and sit on. he can plug in the riser frame to demo but he dosnt plumb in the wc to demo

I have the Solo toilet lifter at the minute which is good but it had the downside that it wasn’t mains operated and its a hassle changing batteries and the batteries don’t hold a good charge any longer.

another downside i think will be a problem as my muscles weaken is that it raises at an angle. not sure how well I will manage latter on and you need to be careful when using it after you jump out the shower. (have nearly slide of a couple of times when bum and feet both wet)

No longer can get off without loo lifters or someone pulling me up. used to climb the wall grab bars

That’s brilliant. I can recommend the Clos-o-mat riser very highly. It kept my level of independence up for some years.
