Take on a scenic cycling route designed and showcase incredible views. Bring your own bike or take advantage of our hire options. Fully marshalled and sign‑posted for a safe, enjoyable ride.
Switch gears and hit the water for a refreshing paddle. All equipment is provided, and our stable boats make this section perfect for beginners and seasoned adventurers alike. Safety crews are on hand throughout.
Finish strong with a rewarding hike to a spectacular summit or viewpoint. The route is fully supported and marked, offering a mix of challenge and awe‑inspiring scenery that makes every step worth it.

Do I need to be super fit?
Not at all! The challenge is designed for committed beginners and seasoned adventurers. With the right preparation, anyone can take part.
Is there a training guide?
Yes. When you sign up, you’ll receive a comprehensive training guide tailored to cycling, paddling, and hiking so you can build confidence and stamina.
How long does the event take?
Most teams complete the challenge in 6–9 hours, depending on pace and conditions.
Are the routes challenging?
Yes, but achievable with preparation. Each section offers stunning scenery and a mix of terrain for an unforgettable experience.
Is travel included?
No, participants arrange their own travel. Parking details will be provided after sign-up.
Where should I stay?
We’ll share recommended accommodation options near the event hub to suit all budgets—from cosy B&Bs to hotels.
Do you provide dinner the night before?
No, Friday evening meals are not included, but we’ll suggest local options.
How will I know where to go?
Routes are fully sign-posted and marshalled. Each team receives a GPS tracker for safety and live progress updates.
What happens if I get lost?
Our event team monitors trackers and can assist immediately.

Are there rest stops?
Yes, changeover stations are positioned between each challenge for refuelling and support.
What if I can’t finish a section?

Yes, qualified first aiders and welfare teams are on hand throughout the event.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We have contingency routes for severe conditions. Safety is our priority, and adjustments will be made if needed.
Do I need my own bike?
If taking part in either the Lake District or Snowdon editions of Pedal Paddle Peak: Yes, unless you book bike hire. Road or hybrid bikes are recommended; e-bikes are welcome (but excluded from fastest finisher awards).
For the Jurassic Coast edition, bikes are included, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer subject to being in good working condition
Is bike hire available?
Yes, for an additional cost. Hire includes helmet, delivery, collection, and mechanic support throughout the event.
Is paddling equipment provided?
Absolutely—all boats, paddles, and life jackets are included. Stable craft make it beginner-friendly.
What should I bring?
