Here are some answers to questions we are often asked about being an MDUK Friend.  

Do MDUK Friends get access to information other people don’t?  

No. All our information is freely available to everyone who needs it.  

I am a member, but my partner isn’t. Can they receive the benefits too?  

Yes. Muscular Dystrophy UK membership is per household, so everyone in your household receives membership benefits. We suggest you make sure everyone at your address is registered so they can all benefit. 

How many publications will I receive?  

You will receive printed copies of Campaign, our supporter newsletter, twice a year, and our Annual Impact Report once a year. All our publications are also freely available online.  

Why are there two prices for becoming a Friend?  

Being an MDUK Friend costs £18 a year if you’re paying by debit or credit, and £15 per year if you set up a Direct Debit. This is because Direct Debits take up less administration time, and we want to pass this saving on to you.   

Can I get all these benefits straightaway when I sign up? 

Yes. You will qualify for exclusive offers immediately and receive the next Campaign newsletter as soon as it is published.
