About payroll giving
Payroll giving (or Give as you earn – ‘GAYE’) is a simple, tax-efficient way to make regular donations straight from your salary. You can donate as much or as little as you like and stop your donation at any time.
Because donations are taken from your salary before deductions, your donation comes tax-free. So, every £1 you give will only cost you 80p (or, if you’re a higher-rate taxpayer, 60p).
There are no costs to you to donate through Payroll Giving and no costs to the company other than the short amount of time taken to set up the scheme.
