The Venue
Spend the day at the UK’s largest attraction dedicated to space. The multi-award-winning National Space Centre has six galleries crammed full of rockets, satellites and meteorites. Plus, you can take in a show at the UK’s largest domes planetarium and ascend the iconic rocket tower!
Itinerary
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Welcome and refreshments. Join us as guests arrive and enjoy light refreshments to start the day.
- 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Meet MDUK. An introduction from the MDUK team to kick off the event.
- 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Guided tour of the museum. Explore the exhibits on a special guided tour.
- 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch (on us). Enjoy a relaxed lunch and the chance to connect with fellow guests.
- 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: MDUK updates and closing remarks. Hear the latest on our work and how your support is making an impact.
- 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Free time at the museum.

The RAF Museum Midlands can be reached by car, train or bus.
There is free parking available when you register for this event.
Refreshments will be provided on arrival at 10:00 AM.
You will be provided with sandwiches at 12:30 PM however feel free to bring your own.
- There are wide aisles in the hangars ensuring access for pushchairs and wheelchairs is very easy.
- A limited number of manual wheelchairs and motor scooters (weather permitting) are available for loan on site at no charge, but donations are welcome.
- These are available on a first come first served basis at the Admissions Desk on arrival in the Visitor Centre.
- We also have seating for breaks through-out your visit.

Toilets and baby change facilities are available in the Visitor Centre, Test Flight, National Cold War Exhibition and Hangar 1.
The Visitor Centre now also houses a Changing Places Toilet. Features that this Changing Places Toilet offers include:
- Ceiling track hoist for full room coverage
- Adult size height adjustable changing table
- Shower
- Peninsular WC
- Height adjustable wash basin
- Privacy Screen
- Emergency alarm system
- Grab rails and drop-down support rails
- Hand drying equipment
- Large waste bin and sanitary/medical waste disposal bin
- Large paper/couch roll and dispenser

We love seeing young fundraisers getting involved — it’s a great chance to inspire the next generation. All under-18s will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event.
