What is Pedal Paddle Peak?
This epic triple adventure challenge takes place in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. It’s a challenging, but fun team-building event where team members will complete all three elements of the challenge together. On average this event will take between 7 – 10 hours to complete (the longest element being the hike, which takes 4-7 hours on average to complete) and we strongly advise getting some training under your belt!

Starting from our event base in Llanberis, you and your team will embark on a stunning 24 mile cycle through Snowdonia National Park (Eryri). The route takes you along the shores of Llyn Padarn, through the beautiful Welsh countryside and charming villages with the Peak of Snowdon looming in the distance.

You’ll them get into your mountain gear and hike to the summit of the mighty Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in England and Wales at 1,085m.

For the last leg of the challenge, you’ll kayak 4km on the pristine waters of Llyn Padarn using two person sit on top kayaks. Team work makes the dream work on this phase!

At the finish you’ll celebrate your achievement in style with your team, fellow participants and family / friends with a complimentary post-event celebration meal, and a glass of bubbly on us!

Don’t just take our word for it! Here is what some of our participants from the 2024 event said about their experience:
“One of the best events I’ve ever done!”
“Such a great day led by a great team!”
“What an amazing experience, made even better by supporting a great cause.”
“A supreme challenge… but absolutely worth every minute”
“It is a privilege to be able to take part in this event. The charity are incredible. It’s a tough challenge, but a very enjoyable day!”
“This was our first time taking part in this event, and wow! It was so well put together and organised. We can’t wait to do it next year!
Taking on the personal challenge was great, doing these three activities back to back was a mental and physical challenge – but hugely rewarding. It’s a great way to push yourself whilst also raising money for such an important cause
“What a great event in a stunning part of the UK. Really well organised & great camaraderie. We would totally recommend it! Team Roberts x”
“Having the relationship with the MDUK event team is great and it’s nice to see them whenever we take on one of their events. We love the Pedal Paddle Peak challenge itself (we’ve done both the Lake District and Snowdon now) and the camaraderie of all taking part too. Definitely coming back to take on PPP again.”

It’s very unlikely that we’d need to completely cancel the event due to bad weather. Should weather interfere with the usual route, our event partners have already planned an alternative mountain route – and the route of the Paddle phase can be adjusted to suit most conditions.
Completing the challenge in harsh conditions just makes the funds you raise worth even more due to the effort involved.
Absolutely! Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way.
