The wallet-sized alert cards contain key recommendations and precautions that a non-specialist clinician should know during a health crisis. They address a range of symptoms and scenarios to ensure their effectiveness. The cards also include space for the contact information of an individual’s specialist neuromuscular team, making it easier to access expert advice.
Our alert cards are written and reviewed by a multi-disciplinary team of specialist neuromuscular clinicians and the MDUK information team to ensure clinical accuracy and incorporate the most current and reliable advice available. It’s important to note that individuals with the same condition may have different symptoms, and the cards serve as a guide.
