We’re delighted to reveal the dates for our Information Days and would encourage you to sign up and join us.
Dates for Information Days announced – come and join us

Throughout the year we’ll be hosting FREE in-person Information Days in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland for adults and parents of children living with a muscle wasting condition.
Hear from experts about a range of different topics, find out more about the advice and support we offer and meet other people affected by muscle wasting and weakening conditions.
Our Information Days are open to anyone across the UK. They’re a great opportunity to share experiences and connect with others. The sessions are a supportive and confidential space where you can ask questions and find out more about the support we provide.
Together we are stronger
After receiving feedback from our last events, we have listened and shaped the agenda based on what you told us.
Speakers will cover topics including:
-
- Travel and accessible holidays
- Personal experience of living with a condition
- Physiotherapy and fatigue management
- Research and treatment updates
The importance of Information Days
23-year-old Cerys, who lives with limb girdle muscular dystrophy, attended the Wales Information Day earlier this year.
She said: “The Information Day was so important because it’s a way for people with all types of muscular dystrophy to come together, share different experiences and feel less alone in their lives.
“It was great to communicate with people who can relate to me and can understand what I’m going through.”
And also gather some new advice and information from specialists and people living in the muscular dystrophy community. I can’t wait until the next event.”

Throughout the year we hold in-person Information Days across the UK, where you can meet other people, get expert information and advice, and find out more about the services and support that we offer.

We are here to help you.
