What is the Microscope Ball?

The Microscope Ball is our flagship fundraising event, filled with captivating performances and an energetic party, attracting over 750 of London’s leading professionals in commercial and property development.

Volunteers will assist with fundraising, from selling raffle tickets to collecting donations from guests. Don’t miss your chance to be part of something special. Volunteer with us and help make a difference! 

Important information: the Microscope Ball is a fun and lively social setting during which alcohol will be served. Due to this, we’re looking for volunteers who are confident in approaching people and comfortable interacting with people who may have been drinking.

What you’ll be doing

  • Selling raffle tickets to guests throughout the evening
  • Act as a table host, supporting guests with bidding on the silent auction and encouraging them to take part in fundraising games on the night
  • Supporting our auctioneer in the live auction by acting as bid spotters around the room

What We’re Looking For:

The event will be a busy and dynamic environment. We’re looking for people who are comfortable volunteering in an environment where alcohol is being served and some attendees may be drinking. The following is also important to have:

  • Confidence talking to a wide range of people and asking for donations in a friendly and professional manner
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Reliability – we’ll need you to be on time
  • Prior events experience would be welcomed but is not required
