Joining Our Future Health to accelerate research for muscle wasting conditions

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve become an affiliate charity partner of Our Future Health, the UK’s largest health research programme.

As an affiliate charity partner, we’ll bring our expertise in muscle wasting and weakening conditions to help shape research that can improve the prevention, detection and treatment of disease. By working alongside researchers, clinicians and other health charities, we can help ensure that the needs of people living with muscle wasting conditions are represented in future discoveries.

More than 110,000 people in the UK live with muscle wasting and weakening conditions, yet many conditions still have limited treatment options. Through partnerships like this, we can help create new opportunities to better understand these conditions, improve diagnosis, and accelerate the development of future treatments.

By joining Our Future Health, we’re helping ensure that people living with rare muscle wasting conditions are included in one of the UK’s most ambitious health research programmes, paving the way for research discoveries that could benefit future generations
