Our community

Our online community continues to grow, and we are rethinking how to best offer a platform for support. While we work on establishing the most effective way to support our online community we have temporarily closed our Talk MD forum. In the meantime, we have other online and offline resources available.

Support groups

Our support groups are safe and welcoming places to talk to others affected by muscle wasting and weakening conditions, share experiences and meet people who understand what you’re going through. We provide both in-person support groups and online options, including WhatsApp groups, regular Zoom support groups and more.

Peer support

Sometimes you just want to speak to someone who knows exactly what you’re going through. Someone who has personal experience of living with a muscle wasting or weakening condition and who will listen without judgement.

Information Days

Throughout the year we hold in-person Information Days across the UK. You can meet others, get expert information and advice, and find out more about the services and support that we offer.

Webinars

Our free webinars offer you the opportunity to hear from expert speakers, share your experience and ask questions. They are held on Zoom so you can join from wherever you are in the UK.
