Celebrating the community

We’d love you to join our community day out in Glasgow on Sunday 26 July.

This is a great opportunity to get away from it all for the day, meet other people, hear about our latest updates, and find out more about how you might support our fundraising in your local community. 

The event will be held at Glasgow Science Centre, one of Scotland’s most iconic science and technology venues on the banks of the River Clyde. With interactive exhibitions, live science demonstrations, an IMAX documentary and the spectacular planetarium all on offer, it is sure to be a fun-filled day!

• Connect with your local Community Fundraising Manager and hear our latest fundraising update
• Enjoy science centre activities including interactive exhibitions, live science demonstrations, an IMAX documentary and the spectacular planetarium
• Free lunch from the café

Your day at a glance

• 10.45am to 11am: Arrival and registration
• 11am to 1pm: Science Centre activities
• 1pm to 2pm: Lunch from the café (lunch voucher provided) and our fundraising update
• 2pm to 3.30pm: More activites and exploring

Further information

There is free disabled parking at the venue, as well as a Changing Places facility.

Assistance dogs are welcome.

If the event reaches capacity, we’ll operate a waiting list to ensure everyone has a chance to attend.

About our community days

Our community days out have been set up to bring people like you together with others in your local area for a great day of fun activities. Last year, we held days out at the National Space Centre, Parallel Windsor Festival of Inclusivity and RAF museum. 

We want to give you the opportunity to relax, get away from it all, chat to others, while hearing from our team about our latest updates and how you could support our fundraising in your local community.
