Celebrity Sports Quiz 2026 raises over £97,000

A host of sporting legends joined over 180 guests and our President, Gabby Logan OBE on Wednesday 20 May for our 14th Celebrity Sports Quiz.

Hosted in the Long Room at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, our 14^th Celebrity Sports Quiz brought together guests and sporting greats for an evening of entertainment, friendly rivalry, and fundraising.

Some money is still coming in, but currently this year’s event has raised £97,600, which will help us to continue funding research and providing support for individuals and families across the UK who are living with one of over 60 muscle wasting conditions, including Lou Hill who attended the event to share her family’s story.

Guests heard from our CEO Andy Fletcher, and there was a game of ‘North or South’ led by Heather Fisher, a live auction hosted by auctioneer and TV personality Thomas Forrester, and of course, the sports quiz itself hosted by Gabby Logan. There was also an online auction with over 40 lots to bid on, including a bowling masterclass with Monty Panesar.

But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the heartfelt speech by Lou Hill whose son Archie lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Lou last shared her story at this event in 2021 and gave an update on how she and her family are doing as Archie embarks on an exciting new chapter, having left school and entered the world of work.
