Claiming Gift Aid can make your gifts worth 25% more – at no extra cost to you. Gift Aid is an income tax scheme that allows charities to reclaim the tax that you have paid on your donations through UK income tax or capital gains tax. All individual donations are eligible for the scheme – including regular gifts made through Standing Orders and Direct Debits. We can claim Gift Aid on donations made in the last four years and on future donations once we receive your Gift Aid declaration. Gift Aid adds an additional 25% onto eligible donations – so, for example, every eligible £10 becomes £12.50 and every eligible £100 becomes £125. To allow us to claim Gift Aid on your donations, please complete and submit this form.

Gift Aid Telephone Calls
We are currently working with a trusted fundraising agency to contact some of our supporters by phone about signing up to Gift Aid. These calls are only being made to people who have made eligible donations to Muscular Dystrophy UK within the last four years.
If you receive a call from 020 8092 9511, please be assured that this is a genuine call made on our behalf. The caller will never ask for your bank or card details – they are simply checking whether you would like to add Gift Aid to your past and future donations, helping your support go even further at no extra cost to you.
