Whether your child has recently been diagnosed, you’re looking for practical advice, or you’d simply like to meet and connect with other families who understand your experiences, this day is for you.
Who is this information day for?
This event is open to families across Wales and the wider UK. It is designed for parents and carers of children living with a muscle wasting condition.
What to expect
- Informative sessions covering practical advice and latest developments in research
- A chance to meet and connect with other families who understand your experiences
- Learn more about services and resources available to families
- Share experiences, ask questions and feel part of a supportive community
- Lunch is provided as well as refreshments throughout the day

Spaces are limited and, if the event reaches capacity, we’ll operate a waiting list to ensure as many families as possible have the opportunity to attend.
We’re currently finalising the programme and we’ll share the full agenda and speaker line-up closer to the event.
Please note: children are very welcome to attend. We won’t have dedicated childcare provision on the day so children will need to remain under the supervision of their parent or carer.
