We’re delighted to open nominations for our Stronger Together Awards, which will recognise and honour outstanding people in our community. You have until Sunday 1 November 2026 to nominate.
Nominations open for our Stronger Together Awards 2027
The awards celebrate the strength and diversity of the muscle wasting community – from researchers and healthcare professionals to carers, campaigners, fundraisers, and volunteers.
You may wish to nominate an individual or group doing amazing things to raise money; someone caring for and supporting others; or an inspiring researcher looking for ways to help people in our community improve the quality of their lives. Or perhaps you know someone who is going above and beyond to raise awareness and drive change to make a difference for the community.
There are 11 award categories, and anyone can make a nomination. This is a chance to highlight some of the incredible work that goes on, often unseen.
The categories are:
- Neuromuscular Specialist Recognition
- Neuromuscular Initiative of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Fundraiser of the Year
- Partnership of the Year
- Community Support Champion
- Campaigner of the Year
- Early Career Researcher of the Year
- Alexander and Valerie Patrick Award recognising Carer of the Year
- Peter and Nancy Andrews Award for Community Achievement
- Richard Attenborough Award for Outstanding Achievement
Nominations close on Sunday 1 November 2026. Our judging panel will then meet in January, and the award ceremony will take place in Spring 2027, hosted by our President, Gabby Logan OBE.
